Hi,
Its a great pleasure to get connected. Fun at MET my god its made my life yaar. I enjoy the fruits of it in industry today. Specially when I am based out of Dubai I do remmeber all those golden days. Long life and live kingsize MET.

    I want you to know that almost all of the students of MET are with you in this fight against the Bhujbals. The students have high regards for you sir. After what you did now, students have more respect for you. Every student who comes to MET, looks upto you as a role model. We believe in you completely. Anytime you need us, please let us know.

    Hello Sir,

    I read about this in the newspaper couple of days back.

    I passed out in the year 2010 and me along with the other students were also very frustrated with the way things were being managed @ MET.

    Utsav and sports events were always given more importance than lectures and presentations.

    Please let us know, how we can come forward and help change things at MET, we would love to do that.... is there a petition that we need to sign ?

    Let us know and we shall help in whatever way we can !

    My Dear Students,

    I am sure you are now aware of the activities of the other Trustees and their family members and their single point agenda to convert our beloved Institution into a family business concern.

    For the last 4-5 years I have been trying to resolve the issues concerning our Institution through dialogue with the other Trustees. I avoided taking a legal recourse as any confrontation would have led to negative publicity for MET and would have been damaging to the status of our Institution and detrimental to its members.

    It was my innocence , that I believed in their repeated false assurances to make good the loss caused to MET by their callous attitude and self centered actions . Unfortunately, they never had the intention of keeping their word. This was made clear in the meeting held on 29th September2011, wherein they announced to me that all the assurances and promises that they have been making over the years will not be fulfilled by them, come what may. This breach of trust left me with no option but to take legal steps to protect our Institution.

    I have taken the current step to save our Institution and its reputation from being further destroyed. Surely, you all understand and appreciate this action in the right perspective.

    In the last 4 months it is evident from their style of operation that the focus has shifted from being student centric to Chairman centric. Last minute cancellation of the ‘Alumni Meet of the Institute of Management’ solely due to the unavailability of the Chairman or cancelling important placement interviews to facilitate Utsav practices, shows them catering to irrational demands of one family and not the requirements of the students. The entire functioning of the institute is in jeopardy.

    I am sure you all understand what it takes to create an institute and shape the careers of thousands of students. If we are not able to exercise professionalism in running of the institute, then how will the students be able to face the challenges of a professional world once they step outside the institute?

    With the efforts and co-operation of one and all, especially the Alumni, today MET has reached a stage where industry and public at large have started looking at MET with high regard and respect. You would certainly not want the self-indulgence and desire of one family for control to destroy the good will and reputation of MET.

    Today, my request to all students is that no matter where you are and in whatever way possible, do come forward to rescue you alma mater from this greed and power play……
